Bossa Games is looking for an experienced AWS Architect (Contractor) to join their team for 6 months. As an AWS Architect, you will work closely with the technology team and be focused on maintaining existing deployments associated with our core services whilst also identifying and decommissioning legacy assets.
Responsibilities
- Audit the AWS infrastructure to ensure it aligns with the latest best practices and company requirements.
- Work closely with the tech team to ensure that the infrastructure meets their needs and requirements.
- Oversee the safe decommissioning and removal of outdated or unused AWS resources.
- Manage the termination of unused AWS instances, and ensure that data is securely wiped or transferred when decommissioning.
- Provide documentation (JIRA) and records for all decommissioned resources.
- Provide support and assistance for all AWS related network connectivity
- Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS technologies and best practices.
Requirements
- Certified AWS Solution Architect Associate, or preferably Professional certification or extensive experience in AWS architecture and engineering.
- Extreme attention to detail
- Experience with AWS services such as EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, Fargate etc.
- Strong knowledge of networking, security, and storage technologies in AWS.
- Experience in building and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-based infrastructure solutions on AWS within a product quality environment
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
