Talent Manager
We are looking for an experienced, talented and hardworking Talent Manager to join Bossa Studios. As Talent Manager you will be responsible for acquiring the most talented employees to meet the growing needs of the company whilst owning and being the face of all aspects of Bossa’s talent acquisition process.

Role summary:

 

We are  looking for an experienced, talented and hardworking Talent Manager to join Bossa Studios. As Talent Manager you will be responsible for acquiring the most talented employees to meet the growing needs of the company whilst owning and being the face of all aspects of Bossa’s talent acquisition process.

 

You will be required to develop new strategies, programmes and systems needed to attract the best talent and work to establish a pipeline of candidates. This position will work closely with Bossa’s Managers to determine the best recruiting strategies, forecasting staffing needs and implementing high quality interviewing selection techniques.

 

In addition to the usual recruitment duties you will also be required to be a Talent ambassador for Bossa talent representing us at numerous recruitment and games events whilst also working with Universities and third party organisations to identify and attract the best up and coming talent.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Work with internal teams and Bossa’s hiring managers to assist with all Bossa recruitment.
  • Manage both external and internal recruitment both in the UK and globally where required
  • Develop a Bossa recruitment strategy. This may include job posting optimisation, recruiting marketing channel development, job board procurement, digital and non-digital employment marketing, comprehensive recruitment campaign planning, talent planning, etc…
  • Identify and source appropriate talent for current open roles within Bossa
  • Identify future talent needs and proactively recruiting and sourcing; develop talent pool or social engagements.
  • Manage the recruitment process and life-cycle, including initial assessments, interviews, offers and through to the onboarding of new starters.
  • Brief all candidates on Bossa benefits, salary, and corporate environment.
  • Provide recruitment counsel and guidance to hiring managers and HR with hiring and employment data.
  • Will be required to develop specialised or competitive intelligence and research in regards to talent development and retention.
  • Use social media, job boards, Internet sourcing, gaming job boards and other technical means to source candidates for open jobs.
  • Develop college recruiting/internship programmes and relationships with institutions that can help support Bossa’s talent acquisition.
  • Manage and guide development of Bossa employment resource
  • Be the ambassador for Bossa talent whilst participating in specific gaming employment events, such as career fairs, silicon milkroundabout
  • Use sophisticated applicant tracking systems and other recruiting software and CRM system to track applicants through the selection phase through to onboarding.
  • Develop relationships with third party recruitment agencies and staffing firms and manage the procurement and measurement process


Requirements & Experience:

 

  • Someone who has a strong understanding and experience of full life cycle recruiting
  • Strong understanding and passion for the UK and global games market
  • Proven experience of recruiting high calibre gaming and support staff
  • Proven experience with direct sourcing and building networks
  • Ideally a combination of internal and external high level recruitment experience
  • Prior experience working with a fast growing startup environment preferred
  • Self-driven and motivated
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment and act with a sense of urgency
  • Previously managed volume hiring using assessment centres or other assessment techniques.
  • Excellent sourcing skills and techniques using a wide range of channels.

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Coder looking to step up to the next level to help us create wonderful, entertaining games. This is an opportunity to join at an exciting and critical time in Bossa’s development and work on titles that push the limits.

 

As a Senior Coder you will be responsible for working with the rest of the development department to take our games from concept to completion. You’ll work on a wide variety of areas of each game, and will be actively collaborating with team members of other disciplines. You will have the opportunity to work in a flexible environment, and to add your own ideas into the mix in order to create the most enjoyable and entertaining game possible.

 

As a candidate for the Senior Coder role you are expected to have proven experience within a senior/lead role, with broad experience working across a wide variety of game systems. Importantly you must also be self-motivating, a strong team player who is proactive and with a personal desire to deliver at the highest standard.

 


Responsibilities:

 

  • Taking core gameplay features from a design through development all the way through bugfixing and polish

  • Designing and balancing large multiplayer systems, especially crafting, player rewards, player progression, and combat
